CORRELATION OF SHARE MARKET PRICE AND PERFORMANCE OF COMPANIES QUOTED ON THE CROATIAN CAPITAL MARKET: IMPLICATIONS FOR DECISION MAKING PROCESS Izvorni znanstveni članak The globalization process and its effects characterize the modern economy. Key factors in market competition become quantity and speed of getting information needed for successful management and survival on the market. Set forth factors and market competition oblige investors, creditors, companies and other participants on financial markets to get a risk. Therefore, many investors take a market price of share of listed company as enough information in investors’ decision-making process about its financial position. Authors of the paper present how much information about market price share of listed company and its movement in the decided period of time may be enough in decisionmaking process by participants on Croatian capital market. For that purpose was researched correlation between market price of share and operating result of listed company. The research was done on the Croatian capital market.
